Adhesive in polychloroprene base solution, light amber color, not very staining. It can be used as 1 or 2 components depending on the case. As a two-component adhesive, mix with 3 to 5% of Desmodur R-series hardener or equivalent polyisocyanate. It is used in footwear as a two-component adhesive (plus 5% Desmodur) for bonding leather soles, cuerolite, rubber, and EVA micro (sanded). It is also used in anatomical plants of agglomerated cork with rubber "Bios" (sanded or halogenated), as well as for bonding raw rubber onto vulcanized rubber in an autoclave, and it is essential to incorporate 5% Desmodur RE or RFE into the adhesive and glue the two surfaces. It is a general adhesive for use in footwear prefabrication when a good compromise is sought between a wide open time and good initial strength. ##### Characteristics - Brookfield LVF Viscosity (at 20ºC): Medium 1,500 to 2,500 cP(mPa·s) at 22 +/-4ºC - Drying: Fast, 15 to 30 minutes, under normal conditions (23ºC,50%), depending on materials. - Open time: - (without hardener) By Contact: Medium; up to 1.5 to 3 hours depending on the nature of the materials and environmental conditions. Good Tack. - (plus 5% Desmodur) By Contact, up to 30 minutes, under normal conditions - By Heat reactivation (60-70ºC), up to 60-90 minutes, if the open contact time has been exceeded. - Pot life after adding hardener: - 5% Desmodur RFE -> 60 minutes - 5% Desmodur RC -> 3 hours. As for performance, when bonding rubber to pavement, GTR is given to the rubber with 5% Desmodur RFE and its yield is 0.8 L/m2.
